Job Description

  • Workshop Capacity Planning and Loading
  • Optimising productivity, efficiency, and workshop output and review for continuous improvement
  • Right job allocation for the right technician
  • Controlling productive time and distribution of jobs
  • Administer Technicians’ time booking in time clocking system
  • Control and plan carry over jobs as well as work in progress
  • To implement the Dealer standards on the workshop floor
  • Ensure Fixt it Right First Time (FRFT) by assigning right jobs to the right technician
  • Ensure a quality job and deliver the vehicles at promised time
  • Inform Service Advisors of additional repair jobs to ensure rectification of all the necessary repairs in the vehicles
  • Identify & recommend training needs for technicians
  • Quality Performance Development Review with technicians 
  • Conduct effective daily and weekly meetings with technicians for necessary updates
  • Assist Technical Support Manager in providing Quality Inspection Check Sheets
  • Maintaining Service Bulletins and Workshop Manuals

Requirements:

  • Communication skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Workshop Team Leader or similar role
  • Excellent Communication skills and leadership skills
  • Valid UAE Driver’s license
  • American car brand experience is preferred
