Job Description

  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to oversee the preparation and execution of outbound shipments.
  • Ensure all necessary shipping documents are accurately generated, managed, and archived in compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Communicate with transport providers to schedule pickups, negotiate terms, and resolve any shipping-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and safety standards; ensure all shipping operations adhere to these laws.
  • ork closely with inventory management to ensure accuracy and availability of products for shipping.
  • Analyse shipping metrics to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement, implementing actionable solutions.
  • Address any shipping discrepancies, delays, or complaints promptly and effectively to minimize impact on operations.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a shipping or logistics role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in shipping and logistics software systems and the MS Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison with teams and transport providers.
  •  Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail to ensure accurate shipment documentation and scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve shipping issues effectively.
