Job Description

  • Installing and maintaining kitchen, refrigeration, and laundry equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Responding promptly to equipment issues reported by kitchen and laundry staff, providing efficient and effective solutions.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to implement preventive maintenance programs, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment lifespan.
  • Conducting regular inspections and performance tests on kitchen and laundry equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards for luxury hospitality.
  • Repairing, installing, and maintaining all resident rooms’ home appliances.
  • Installing new equipment when necessary.
  • Maintaining all kitchen and refrigeration equipment to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Keeping walk-in freezer temperature records as per Municipality requirements.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Coordinating with other technicians and departments to optimize overall efficiency and functionality within the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a technician, specializing in kitchen, refrigeration, and laundry equipment, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of various kitchen, refrigeration, and laundry equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Familiarity with all HACCP requirements related to equipment and the ability to maintain all necessary records.
  • Experience conducting monthly, quarterly, and any due maintenance for all equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications relevant to equipment installations.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with kitchen and laundry staff, as well as other team members.
