Job Description
- Curate an extensive wine list, staying updated with new releases and trends.
- Assist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals.
- Maintain proper wine storage and cellar organization.
- Conduct wine training sessions for staff to enhance their wine expertise.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create wine pairing suggestions.
- Ensure the smooth flow of wine service during busy periods.
- Complying with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of wines.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Ability to recommend wines based on individual preferences and food pairings.
- Knowledge of proper wine storage and cellar management.
- Passion for staying updated with industry trends and expanding wine knowledge.
- Certifications such as sommelier training are a plus.
- Sense of graciousness in product presentation.
- Excellent selling skills.
