Job Description

  • Manage legal matters to ensure compliance with applicable laws, minimize risk, and support informed decision-making
  • Assist in overseeing litigation, monitor external counsel performance, and manage billings to ensure quality support and value for money
  • Review agreements to ensure legal compliance, manage risk, and achieve commercial objectives
  • Provide guidance on regional laws and regulations impacting the company’s business
  • Assist in formulating legal strategies for commercial negotiations and litigation and participate in negotiations with third parties as needed
  • Advise the company and executives on legal matters to ensure compliance, minimize risk, and support informed decision-making
  • Support corporate governance activities, including company establishment and liquidation, trade license management, board meetings, signatory authority updates, and powers of attorney
  • Draft, amend, and review agreements

Requirements:

  • Law degree from an accredited university.
  • 6+ years’ legal experience in both private practice and in-house in similar role
  • Expert level of English communication, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in drafting complex retail related, civil & commercial agreements
  • Gulf Cooperation Council, regional, or other international experience.
  • Articulate and good Presentation Skills.
