Job Description
- Overhaul planning and execution with Customer(s) and Service Dealers
- Maintenance planning and execution with Customer(s) and Service Dealers
- Service Letter tracking and execution with Customer(s) and Service Dealers
- Support of Customer parts, service and projects
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
- Knowledge of business development tools, techniques, and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
- A minimum of 3 + years operations or maintenance experience with Caterpillar Marine and/or MaK brand equipment or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline.
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and follow direction with a strong sense of urgency.
- He/she must understand and comply to the HSSE requirements, best practices and provide overviews to the Fleet Manager, Customer and Dealer personnel who will be visiting customer vessels
