Job Description
- Identify market trends in logistics: Comprehensive review & analysis of cargo movement with a 360-degree view of commodities, countries, and customer trading patterns
- Map the various logistical offerings within UAE and the wider GCC region, which includes all services, capabilities and solutions that are being delivered from port gate to clients and customers
- Conduct regular product & services benchmarking studies to compare us with our competitors and suggest areas for improvement
- Create a go to market plan by identifying opportunities basis our logistical capabilities and drive expansion in existing and targeted geographies, and hereby creating end-to-end integrated supply chain solutions from factory floor to customer door
- Assist with identifying ocean freight trends basis vessel utilization levels for better management by our commercial teams
- Performance management of the various asset classes under both contract logistics and freight logistics through structured reporting and dashboards
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Maintain and update databases related to logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or business intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. Understanding of global logistics and trade regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
